We offer a broad product portfolio of potassium derivatives, cyanuric chlorides and crosslinkers under the brand names TAC and TAICROS® for various markets that make our lives more pleasant and also more sustainable. For example, they act as bio fungicides in organic agriculture, as catalysts in biodiesel, for the rapid drying of raisins, in the synthesis of optical brighteners, against potassium deficiency or as sodium reducing leavening agents and crosslinkers in EVA films.

Agriculture
Our potassium bicarbonate (BIKA) improves the agrochemical synthesis and acts as a biological fungicide in ecological farming. KOH solution and potassium carbonate solution are used in liquid complex fertilizers.

Dyes and brighteners
Cyanuric chlorides are used in the synthesis of optical brighteners. The bluish fluorescence generated makes the yellow or yellowish substrates appear whiter. Cyanuric chloride is also an important raw material for the production of numerous reactive dyes. The dye is chemically fixed on the fiber. The result is a high-grade, non-fading, colorfast dyeing.

Food, beverages and nutraceuticals
Potassium derivatives are versatile ingredients and additives used in the food, beverage and pharma industry. They act as a leavening and drying agent, color enhancer and source of CO2. They improve the pH-adjustment and reduce the sodium content in your products.

Pharma and Health Care
Physical fitness, good looks and well-being are becoming increasingly important. Potassium derivatives are used in the pharmaceutical industry for synthesis and as active pharmaceutical ingredients, for example as sodium-free effervescent agents or for the treatment of potassium deficiency.

Plastics, rubber and electronics
All TAC and TAICROS® products are highly efficient tri-functional crosslinking additives for peroxide- or electron beam-curing of various materials. The crosslinking process of EVA films is significantly improved by using TAC and TAICROS® as crosslinking additives. Furthermore they are applied in peroxide crosslinking of rubber.
